Grace and peace to all who find their way here!
My name is Sarah and I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Theological Studies at a major university. From 2002 to 2008 I was a solo pastor in a Presbyterian (PC(USA)) congregation in a rural context. I am married to a wonderful man, Kevin, who is a church musician and fabulous cook (and hard worker and…) and we are expecting our first child- December, 2008.
This blog is where I process some of the stuff that rambles around in my head, some of it is related to my studies, some to the world or life in general, a lot of it will likely be about church. I have another blog for reflecting on the transition to parenthood and celebrating this gift we’re being given. If you want to read over there (or if you ever want to contact me off blog) please send me an e-mail at stoutearthchild at mac dot com.
Hi Sarah,
absolutely amazing how you cope with your studies with a baby approaching. I’d like to know the other half of the story as well, so it would be nice if you could point me to your baby blog.
Thanks in advance and best wishes from
Marlene from Germany
